Miss Sri Lanka 2010 select for Top 40 semi finalists in Miss World Beachwear 2010

The 60th Miss World pageant, Miss World 2010 will be held on October 30, 2010 in Sanya, China. Fallon Ranasinghe made Sri Lanka proud when she was chosen for the top 40 semi finalists of the Miss World Beachwear on October 14, 2010.


Miss Puerto Rico (right) has won the Miss World Beach Beauty crystal trophy and first guaranteed place in the Miss World semi finals.




Top 40 semi finalists in Miss World Beachwear were Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Botswana, Bolivia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Cape Verde, Cayman Islands, China PR, Czech Republic, France, French Polynesia, Ghana, Guadeloupe, Hong Kong China, Hungary, India, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Martinique, Moldova, Mongolia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Russia, St Lucia, Scotland, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkey, Ukraine, United States and Zimbabwe.

Road to MSL 2010

Her glowing complexion, sparkling personality and charming smile are what shine through. Just twenty two years of age, Fallon Ransinghe who stands 5’ 8” tall is blessed with both beauty and brains. And she is the country’s new Miss Sri Lanka for Miss World 2010. Born and raised in Kelaniya, Fallon is a product of All Saints’ College, Borella. Modelling came naturally to her. She had been modelling for over three years. In the last few years, she has appeared on various catwalks, which displayed the works of the local & international fashion designers.

Derana Veet Miss Sri Lanka 2010 ended with gifting another beauty queen. Fallon Ranasinghe bag the prestigious title Miss Sri Lanka 2010 held in Mount Lavinia Hotel on August 10 ,2010. Shalini Rajapakse and Shashi Fernando placed for 1st runner-up & 2nd runner-up respectively.
